Discussion:
Profile Display in Customer and Orders Manager App

What is the best way to "hide" one or more of profile's properties in the
Customer and Orders Manager UI? We would like to simplify the input and
editing of our "Organization" profiles but prefer not to modify the actual
profile store, just the UI.

Is it better to set the profile property's "Active" attribute to "No" using
the Commerce Server Manager or is it better to add the hidden="true"
attribute to the property in the PresentationInfo.xml file? Or are these two
methods equivalent?

Hi Jeff,

You should hide it by setting hidden="true" in presentationinfo.xml.
Setting "Active" to false implies that the property is not used at all.
Setting "hidden" to true implies that is should not be visible in the UI.

Let me know if there is any further issue. Have a great day.

Sincerely,
